Accordingly we have carefully selected boutique and heritage accommodation venues including heritage hotels, havelis (mansions with central courtyard), and culturally-inspired properties.

🪷in BANDIPUR ahhh my heart heritage Bandipur Inn (or similar) sitting on the veranda, you can watch life unfold in this vehicle-free village, creating a dreamy atmosphere that feels like a step back in time.

🪷in BIJAIPUR we retreat behind the walls of the Kings Castle Bijaipur, (or similar ) have some time to yourself for a massage or read your book by the pool.

I especially enjoyed the various heritage properties we stayed in, Ariya Niwas, Castle Bijaipur and Karohi Haveli. Instead of bog-standard hotel rooms the accomodation offered a delightful sense of history and culture, giving an overall cool vibe to the trip.

I love the places you picked. I’d have been nervous to pick some of them, usually sticking to the safety of hotels. I LOVED all of the places we stayed, especially in Jaipur and Bijaipur. -
🪷in CHITWAN Royal Park Hotel (or similar) Bird watches paradise somewhere to put our feet up for a bit.

🪷in DELHI we choose to stay at Eros Hotel New Delhi (or similar) a modern relief from hustle and bustle of Delhi and a nice haven after long flights. We aim to provide authentic, memorable insightful experiences of the incredible places we visit during this journey as well as an insight into India’s colourful history, elegant architecture and diverse culture.

I Loved the diversity of accommodation from fancy hotels to castle and haveli heritage accommodation that made me feel like a princess. -
🪷 in JAIPUR its Arys Niwas Haveli (or similar) a family run oasis with beautiful gardens and restaurant.

All of our lodgings have en-suite bathrooms, some swimming pools. The names of our hotels are noted on the itinerary. On rare occasions, alternative arrangements may need to be made due to circumstances beyond our control. A similar standard of accommodation will be arranged in these circumstances.
Ann March 25' Excellent. Exceeded my hopes. I loved how old they were. I so appreciated the character, the wood, the big locks and keys. Especially the hotel in Jaipur. That place felt like what I thought India would be like. It had "the magic of India." -
🪷in KATHMANDU the Ramada Encore (or similar) in the middle of Thamel perfect place to unwind with the whirlwind of laneways, cafes, tourist hub at the front doorstep

🪷in LUMBINI the Lumbini Buddha Garden Resort (or similar) a serene getaway a lush garden, and a tranquil terrace.

🪷in POKHARA Waterfront Resort (or similar) famous for its lakeside views we make the most of the views from the pool.

🪷in UDAIPUR we choose to stay at Karoli Haveli (or similar) nestled in a garden settling with views of the Pichola Lake from the bedroom windows.

Please be aware that each room is unique, bathrooms have often been retrograded, some rooms are bigger than others, rooms may have different views or out looks and we may occasionally be allocated rooms without windows. These properties are different from a standard hotel and thus may not have some mod cons such as televisions and elevators. -
🪷in VARANASI Built in 1818, Hotel Surya (or similar) used to be a royal palace of an ancient Nepali king. seems appropriate for our India to Nepal trip.

Heritage hotels are a wonderful way to experience Indian hospitality harking back to the days of the Maharajah.
